I can safely cut dead wood and excess limbs to your specification. When only trimming a tree, as opposed to cutting it completely down, I avoid excess damage and do not wear climbing spikes on my boots. I have basic tree trimming knowledge, but I am not an arborist. If you know what you want done, but just don't have a ladder tall enough to do it yourself, I'm the right guy. But if you need an expert in tree cultivation, you want a real arborist. There are good arborists in the area.
You might not need to remove the tree. Get an arborist's advice. If you tell me it needs to go, here's what happens. I tie myself into the tree with several ropes and begin climbing. I'm careful for myself and your property. On the way up, I cut off branches and drop them in a designated area. For larger pieces, I use rope and hardware to bring them down easy. Near the top, I begin cutting the trunk into sections. These sections can be as long as 8 or 10 feet, if it is desirable to produce such logs. I keep the drama to a minimum, using the rigging for a slow descent. When there's nothing left to climb on, it's done
I can haul the brush to the dump and take the wood to someone who needs firewood.
I organize the small branches into piles or put them in my truck. I cut the larger wood into convenient lengths.
